Where We Are

"A big-big thank you goes out to you Andrew, for helping those of us that are yet to become Sky-Gods. We are all part of your ever growing family."

We are based in the village of Burton Bradstock within view of the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline. Our office, lecture room and shop is located in a converted Diary Building next to Jessica's Farmhouse Cakes. (You can tell when the wind is from the west as the breeze smells of carrot cake.) If you'd like to visit please call in advance to let us know as we may well be out on the hill. Drive down the Manor Farm driveway and swing hard right at the bottom of the slope.

Our training sites are situated inland from the beautiful Jurassic Coast area of West Dorset . We have hills that cater for all wind directions and enjoy probably the best proportion of flyable days across all of southern England . Each flying day we meet up on the hill we will be training on. Our four most frequently used sites are listed below. The links are to Multimap.com and the circle shows roughly where to park. You can zoom in or out to see the best route for you.

Swyre Hill is a smaller hill overlooking the sea near the village of West Bexington (home of Peppers by Post - famous for growing the Dorset Naga, world's hottest chilli pepper!) The proximity to the sea make for smooth dependable winds and in the summer we often come here to fly in the sea breeze. The best wind direction is WSW.

Telegraph Hill (AKA Batcombe) is our largest site and a great soaring ridge. At the moment we allow this to be an 'open' site as it is one of the best cross country ridges in the South West with experienced pilot frequently flying to the coast at Purbeck. The best wind direction is NW.
