"We have known Andrew Pearse for almost twenty years, and he has traded with us since he first set up Flying Frenzy. Quite apart from being a thoroughly good bloke and a sickeningly brilliant pilot, Andrew seems to have the ability to turn out very competent pilots. We always recommend him to people looking for a school, because we know they will get the best service." Simon Murphy, Firebird UK .
Weather
XC weather is one of the most useful sites around - it shows you at a glance what the wind is up to and even has a detailed wind forecast for the next few days. Portland and Yeovilton are the stations closest to our hills. Always add a bit to get an idea of the wind speed out on the hills. Recently it seems safe to double what it says at Yeovilton (especially for Telegraph and Eggardon).

BBC local forecast - A quick forecast for our area. Note the wind speeds are usually very much higher than the BBC suggest. If it doesn’t come up with our area forecast type ‘DT2’ in the find a forecast box.
RASP - This is a rather technical site but an absolute mine of information available.
